      The 'Blue' Card

      I hate diving, or 'simulation' as they like to call it.

      Yellow = Warning
      Red = Dismissal
      Blue = Sin Binned

      You receive a blue card for 'simulation' (cheating/diving) and are off the pitch for 15 minutes.

      Two blue cards and you're off.

      What you think?

      Not a bad idea Rushy but my idea is if the ref can see someone cleary diving he is off.

      Don't think it will work ..

      Diving/cheating/simulation has become part and parcel of football.

      The problem isn't the punishment. The problem is noticing the cheating. If a ref actually notices someone cheating then they should be getting yellow or red. That should either stop people from doing it, or they risk getting send off. But a referee and even linesmen can't see everything. And understandably they tend to refrain from giving out cards if they aren't sure. They should be allowed to be advised by another official that's watching the game on a tv.
