What do you do Before the Game

What do you do before the game whether it is at Anfield or home. How do you feel.
I get quite nervous but really tired at the same time since i live in Australia.

I usually have a swifty in the Sandon!!
Or a can outside at the back if its sunny like now.

I wonder how many times we will hit the woodwork.

Distract myself with Fifa.

I shout and swear at the terrible players and dread to think how we'll struggle in the 90mins coming up

Few ales in The Park, then ALWAYS curry and chips from the chippy before heading into ground ALWAYS 30mins prior to kick off.

Me and my boys get into our kits - current ones for them, replica Wembley 78 one for me and convince ourselves this is the week and the game when the opposition get the hammering someone's been due all season!

Get excited, then nervous, excited, check the team and then get excited, run down the stairs and into the sitting room and then get nervous again as Sky Sports,Setanta or ESPN show another Ad break.

I wake up (most games start at either 5 or 7 am), throw on my jersey and scarf, blindly get some coffee and either head to the pub or park on my couch to watch.

Wake up and throw on my kit. Then I sit there screaming at the telly for 90 minutes and after come on here to read the WUM posts when we lose or draw, or see everyone praising our players that they usually hate on when we win.

I get nervous as hell before our games. When I used to go to the games I was never nervous, but now I usually just smoke like a chimney until the game starts. I am not too bad once the games started, the nerves usually go away and I can settle back and enjoy the game, either on my own or with my son.

If it's at the weekend then I entertain my two kids as much as possible so they're not too pissed off when dad sits there swearing at the TV/PC for a couple of hours.
If it's in the week, I'm either at work our doing anything to take my mind off the game, I get really impatient waiting for it to start! About an hour before kick off, I'll be on here waiting for team news.

DVR is your friend Kev, got mine first time for this season and it is so much nicer, I just don't read the board/internet beforehand.

I drink....heavily.

the first thing to do is not telling my sister about the game because every time she knows about any game we lose  so the first thing to do is  not telling her , when she doesn't know we win

I check ESPN soccernet through the week and write down all the games I'm interested in that are happening that weekend. Ideally I watch Bayern as well as us but most of the time their games are half an hour before our kick off so to be honest I've only seen a couple of theirs live this season. Obviously everything revolves around us and even if there's a game on after that could be good there's just no motivation to watch it if we've lost.

I'll be honest I set my weekends around Liverpool. If kick off is 1:30am Sun morning then Saturday night definitely wont involve going out.
