I remember that Charlie Adam whipping them in when he played for Blackpool, caused utter chaos as they were so precise and caused many a goal....wonder what happened to him...?

I put it down to the pressure of playing for a big club and the problem has manifested as the season has progressed. It isn't as though he lost his technique overnight. His corner deliveries have generally been pretty poor this season.

Are we including the corners that Charlie Adam puts straight out of touch in this analysis?

1.  Bring back zonal marking (although Rafa's version was actually half zonal half man-to-man).  I loved it and always felt confident we would clear the ball 9 times out of 10.

2.  Bring in some decent set piece players.  Adam has, so far, failed miserably to deliver decent corners on a regular basis.  We've been poor at converting corners for a long while.
