Once we lost to Arsenal and the team knew they wouldn't get 4th but were already in the Europa league, they just gave up on the league mentally by the look of it.

Mate management have to be asked serious questions, to suggest otherwise is wrong, the players are swaning around like they couldnt give a sh*te, that is kennys problem, maybe he has got to close to the players.
Throw money?!?!?!?!?! Buddy we just spent over 100 millions pounds. Id have the head of anyone in here who cristicizes the yanks as well. They have been fantastic and they have just lost a hell of alot of money on some very bad investments.
But the sad truth is to go forward we will need more investment. The even sadder truth is if you think we lost money on Poulsen, Jovanovic, Cole, Ngog, Degan then your in for quite a surprise because we will never get back a fraction of what we paid for some of these players this season.

Another bad day at the office, void of ideas, craft and workmanship.
Kenny should have had sterling on the bench.lot of players very poor again today, very leggy for me.
The whole balance of the team looks bad.
Yep Sterling looked good for the little time he was on but today Kenny would rather play the deadwood

Agreed. That was a major turning point of our league season. The fight and hunger disappeared from the team after that result.

They couldn't give a sh*t because they themselves are sh*t. We need a world class playmaker in midfield and a defensive midfielder. Jamie should never start another game. He's slowing us down very badly in attack. Kenny's hand on players shoulders, i just don't like that. Time to take out the baseball bat for KK.

Just think all belief has gone from our side, because we were playing fine until we went behind then things didn't pick up at all. That is not good enough and who you "blame" for that is questionable, management or players but the mentality is definitely wrong in this team at the moment. When we go behind we expect to lose as I do think this result could of been quite different. Ref gave us nothing and them everything, still so many embarressing things happened that questions have to be answered.

We had a week's rest so tiredness can't be an excuse, quicker this league campaign is over the better really it's just turned into a bloody disaster and it's just getting worse it seems.

Sadly that probably sums it up.
That professional footballers would think like that is shocking.
That Liverpool players would think like that is a complete and utter disgrace.

Newcastle had strikers who can finish, we have Suarez who can't finish his dinner and Andy, who I thought for the first half was very good. That was the difference.
Don't ask me about the difference between us and QPR, Wigan, Bolton, Arsenal, etc as that's a little different, but the difference today was finishing and we don't have one let alone two.

That is F***ing disgraceful if true, i remember Shankly saying he wanted to win every F***ing match, friendlies and all, yet because we cant get top 4 its okay to give up on the league. Where is the pride in the shirt

Good he doesn't belong near one unless it's to clean up the sh*t from a toilet overflow or something.

Not Denial at all mate, had Carroll not dived and stuck it in an empty net and had the penalty been awarded and we converted it, we'd have been 2-0 up and I expect there would have been a very different outcome to the game.

And as I said I can't blamy Kenny for any of teh above as he did not dive and nor did he wave away the penalty appeals.

      Can't argue with those points.

Gutted.  We were crap today after they scored.

      Perch is a cheat.

      Ref was a tool.

Too many players (again) were below par.  Where was our inspirational captain?  He surely wasn't sulking that he wasn't precisely CM was he?

If thats true, he should never play for us again....saying that, he hasn't really 'played' like a footballer for us all season.
