LFC documentary by Fox Soccer: Being Liverpool

Here in Oz we must be one or two behind as last Sunday was ep 3.  I really think that if you were not a fan of the club and a football fan that it would not be a program you would watch.  I cannot see myself watching this if it were anyone else.  That said a general sports fan may watch it out of interest, but I cannot see how you would support the club because of the program.

However I am enjoying it and it gives you a good insight into some of the players, who I feel are generally being themselves.  Jay comes across as a really nice bloke who just wants to play football - it is a shame he is not quite good enough in the manager's eyes.

My boys are impressed ........ with Brendan's whistle.

How many episodes is it?

Some of the stuff said in it puts quite a bit of pressure on the team when watching it back at a later date, especially given the poor start.

Not everybody will like the three envelopes speech but if a senior player like Pepe appreciates it and can see the merit then its fineby me.

It can separate the weak from the strong and if every player had his atitude that the manager will not be able to put his name in the envelope.then we would have nothing to worry about in terms of commitment from the players.

Haven't seen episode 5 on iTunes either and it usually alerts me when it's ready to download. Must be some sort of delay.

I didn't see episode 5 listed on TV yesterday, so it might not have debuted yet.

Mate off RAWK says the US airing isn't until 21st Oct so links will be sparse. I hear it's gone out in Norway just. Will just have to wait around til Friday. In the meantime Homeland will fill my working day as a substitute...

Probably delayed filming it until after we have won a home game, next episode may only be released in May if that's the case

I really like his poems usually, I just think they haven't got the setting right somehow. Made me feel a little uncomfortable in all honesty. Maybe if they had done them a little more like this :-

Agree on Kirby's poetry opening each episode.
Was great for the first episode but feel its filmed and edited poorly.
Doesn't inspire or create mystery but actually slows down the momentum leading into each episode.
Think the poems have a place but would rather them not as an opening piece shot in such a basic way.

Why is everybody so desperate for the next episode to come out, can't you just wait?
