But Reds skipper Gerrard insists his team-mate is so good that he would have him in the team over the likes of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo

How exactly is Messi at his peak? He is younger than Suarez for a start.

I don't see nothing wrong in what Gerrard has said. Suarez is a great player, and he is saying this to give him confidence and to give him due praise.
