We didn't play in the first half.

My only concern is why we only start playing when we're losing .. if only we played like that for the whole game.

We played Henderson and Spearing we used to play with Alonso and Mascherano end of story.

But we had lost it in the first 60 minutes itself when we were sh*te. Enrique was below-par today, the central midfield pairing of Spearing and Hendo was useless too.

I'm still not sure whether it was a goal or not. My heart says-F**k IT! It should have been given.

Only played when Carroll came on and can someone please tell me why he wasn't starting???

Sorry KD but tactics and team selection were piss poor, IMO(emphasis on that)

I'm not a world class athlete am I, whose only job is to be able to play 97 minutes of top level football.

Whose job it is to play top class football against another side who is doing the same..

Reina- he just doesn't look sharp enough anymore, could he have covered his near post better? I think so.

Enrique - poor game, Ramirez gave him the run around. Personally I think Enrique has been tired for about 3 months now

Skrtel - solid game, a bit unlucky the first goal goes through his legs

Agger - battled hard, like Skrtel, solid performance

Johnson - Carroll apart, thought Johnson was our best performer

Henderson - disappointing, poor performance, he just doesn't 'affect' the game enough

Gerrard - Huffed and puffed, still playing too deep for me

Downing - oh dear, sorry, but that's one bad performance too many

Bellamy - didn't get going today, an off day

Spearing - another oh dear, one of his worst games for me, kept slipping at critical times

Suarez - worked hard, very quite due to no support

Carroll - man of the match by a country mile. Starting to show his worth, chuffed for him

Kuyt - not much time to do anything

Kenny - Probably should have started with a more positive formation, Carroll and Suarez from the start running them ragged.

What was with the Spaniards today also? Reina and Enrique were extremely poor! (by their standard)

We were not robbed, we bottled it. The first 60 minutes we were dismal. Goal or no goal the only player who looked hungry for that trophy was Carroll. Should of started.

In times like these it really pisses me off we didn't bring anyone in January... we so badly needed a striker and a DM... we're not getting anywhere with Spearing and Henderson.

Funny how even before the match started, people were saying Terry and Ivanovic would destroy AC.

I was really hoping he started.

Spearing was really poor, but on the other hand Hendo really held his own in a very shaky midfield.
Enrique was also dissapointing, and his lack of pace was really exposed with Ramirez.
Suarez was too quiet and should a come deeper to pick up the ball.

I don't get that "Chelsea playing on the counter" comments, trying to diminsh their win. Watch the 1st half again ffs, we had 10 men behind the ball, we were playing counter attack ourselves, didn't have a half decent chance the whole half and were totally outplayed by them. What can you say, well done to Chelsea for winning the trophy, I hate their club with all my heart but they are a very good side
