Chelsea are a very experienced side at winning these types of games. No shame in losing to them. TBH I rate them as the 2nd best team on paper in the Premiership besides Man City. Spearing is a good lad to have in the squad but starting a game like that he was always going to struggle. Henderson should have been loaned out this season to get experience so having those two start against a very experienced and physical Chelsea midfield was always going to end one way.

This season we have had too many weak links in our team, mainly the players Kenny has bought himself, and if we don't buy higher quality for next season we will be in trouble.

I'm not even going to read what's gone before my post as my nightmares are less scary no doubt.

I thought we were sh*te until Andy came on, we couldn't put a pass together at all. Every pass was light or heavy and we played like a team with no cohesion at all.

I am absolutely made up the way Andy played and when he came on we were a different side and that is a massive factor for next season. He was a beast, Pepe picked him out from the box pitch length and he was aware as F**k.

I'm as proud as F**k of our fans and lads for what they done today, we're far from the finished product but that last 40 minutes proved that we will still kill any c**t out there. Kenny will make us a formidable force in Europe, that is my firm belief
