And like someone said above, City are free to go on cheating their way to the top... if Everton have any minerals to them they'll bring them up in their appeal, they won't though.

Everton themselves submitted the figures that were investigated. It's just about spending and their explanations not holding up.

Man City's case is much more complicated, with blag companies and spending that isn't in the books at all. There's potential criminality involved, if things can be unravelled and proven.

City were charged before Everton so when, or maybe if, they get their punishment, it's got to be A LOT worse than 10 points, if it's taking so long to sort out, and lets not forget Chelsea... tell you what, those teams in blue can't help but be cu*ts.

BTW while we're going on about City let's not forget them bitter cu*ts have been lapping up Man City's cheating the last few years because they knew it bothered us.

      Bye bye Everton

Throw the book at them..not Tony Book he was a decent player. Whole thing is a farce. if it was us we'd be playing Chad Valley Dog Biscuits first team next season. I've no tuck with Everton but they are being offered up as 'sacrificial lambs'.

Far as City goes, odds on the Premier League will bottle it.

F**k EM !! their getting what they deserve, the Knuts have been winging it as a top club for f***in decades, they’ll appeal and get it reduced to Six, and they can think themselves lucky it gets reduced at all, me, I’d f***in double it if they appeal, cheeky Cnuts, they knew the were overspending, year on year, in a  attempt at keeping up with the average Joe’s,
but to appeal is further undermining those who set the FFP rules & regs, ……Oh sorry Sir’s, we knew we were cheating your system and now we have been found out, you’re gonna hinder us further financially, we really really really can’t afford that and even though we did it deliberately we ask not to have the book thrown at us so we can continue to cheat your system…..see, we don’t have the financial might of a Arab state who are most generous with their backhandedness !! So we feel it’s unfair that our cheating isn’t as bad as their cheating??

Come on lads, we all know nothing will come of any of this,.....especially where Petro-dollars City and MoneyBags Chelsea are concerned....

The League will drag their feet on them two for the next several years before eventually folding the investigation, citing some lack of evidence or technicality tripe.....

Yep, they literally have to win just one game in the next few weeks to lift themselves out of the relegation zone. Such is the mire of that is Luton Town, Burnley & Sheffield Utd....

No doubt they have been stitched up. The Premier League have been itching to pick on someone and Everton were in the frame Their taking the rap. Not like it's £200m + it was just £19m and a few dog biscuits.

Claiming they were selling Richarlison to balance the books and someone at the league tipped off Chelsea and Everton got £60m instead of £80m. And that left them £20m short. They also claim they were 100% up front with the league and thought they would be treated fairly. Dundunder. Few shady moves later and hey ho Everton are 10 points worse off.

Mancheater C. Chelsea and probably one or two others are making sure the 'bean counters' put the comma's in the 'right' place.

Already banned City from Europe for 2 season, and it went to the Court of Arbitration for some unknown reason. Ban was over turned and fine reduced from 30m euros to 10m euros..most likely explanation is that the charges were 'timed out'. However the Court did say that City had...' obstructed the investigations'.

It's the first season in a long time when they can stay in prem with a 10 point deduction unfortunately.

I think the take away is that Everton cheated and still suck. They were almost relegated last season and the entire club is a dumpster fire of an organization from Ownership to players. Hilarious!!!

I don't think its a stitch up - it's entirely Everton's fault. The extent of the risks taken and mismanagement at board level is too deep to go into here. Any loss of over 15m, as per the PSR calculation, and a club faces scrutiny from the PL. Everton were 20m over the hard cap threshold of 105m. That's very very bad and not solely a consequence of any of the mitigating factors as Everton argued. There's all sorts of stuff about the stadium, the arrested "player X", covid and Ukraine, but none of it explains the kamikaze decisions at board level. They gambled on improbable success in the league, misled the commision on several issues and didn't admit the wrongdoing until their revised reply during the whole process.

No doubt I'm in the minority here, but with my long suffering old man a blue, I do feel sorry for the fans as to how the charlatans on the board have run the club into the ground. It might even get worse with further deductions following the appeal process.
