I don't believe that they won't sell him for the right offer. Isn't his contract up at the end of next season? Bet they'd like to get something for him as opposed to him leaving on a free?
I think he would fit in quite well with our squad. Very versatile, very tough, a bit of an brash attitude (in a good way) and is "Premier League Proven"

Clint not going Eastward: Fulham boss insists US star is not for sale
Clint Dempsey has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool after scoring an impressive 23 goals this season
American dream: Martin Jol is desperate for Dempsey to stay at Craven Cottage American dream: Martin Jol is desperate for Dempsey to stay at Craven Cottage
Fulham manager Martin Jol has told all concerned that star man Clint Dempsey is not for sale.
The American has scored an impressive 23 goals this season from the left of Fulham’s midfield and is believed to be a target for Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as a host of other European clubs.
Dempsey will miss today’s clash with Tottenham with a groin complaint but his boss is adamant that Fulham fans have not seen the last of the 29-year-old.
Jol made it very clear: “Clint will not go because if he does, then I will need 20 goals and that is not easy to find.
“That is what I told Clint and all the other people around him, so, hopefully, we can keep him.
“It is in our own hands, there have been no bids and even if there were, I don’t think we would sell.
“It is hypothetical, there have been no bids for Clint over the last couple of years – not one bid.”
