According to LFC transfer gossip, Elia has told Dutch tv he is to find a new club in coming weeks. Juve have been made aware and the battle is on for his signature. Pacy lad, should've arrived a few seasons ago but better late than never. (nothing directly linked but previous interest has been mooted and he suits the mould of BR)

Babel did not fit in to the club yes but it does not mean other players of similar qualities will not fit in and shine.

Babel has pace, skill and flair too but his head isn't at the game. In my opinion Elia lacks passion and football intelligence.

No he is right, Elia reminds me of Babel, he has pace and physical presence, but he lacks flair and game intelligence, he would be an awful signing

Must admit he does remind me of Ryan Babel when I have seen him play, because he is the same style with similar attributes.  I have never been overly impressed by him, but he is older now and time in Italy may have made him a better player.
