R.I.P.Gordon West

The Liverpool Echo reported that Gordon West ex Everton and England goalkeeper had passed away last night.Gordon West was always presented with a handbag whenever we played Everton and  he took the micky take in good spirit.He was at  Everton for 11 years in the 1960s and early 70s,that brings memories flooding back of the rivalry between Bill Shankly and Harry Catterick.
                                       Condolences to Gordon's family and R.I.P.

Happy days absolute intensive rivalry but still some fun to be had and he was a terrific goalie.
Very sad news for his family 69 is not old at all these days.

RIP Gordon West, in the days the derby was a good day out - terrific goalkeeper in his day.

Remember a foggy UK night derby game at Goodison.  Played a blinder against us.  Good man.

R.I.P. "Honey". You always took the banter in the manner in which it was given.
