It's loans or nothing really. I'm absolutely delighted. We don't have to pay the full wage packet and there's always that possibility that we could do a deal next year if things work out good enough for the player and the club.

Delighted we've got him. He is a class player and will offer something different in a midfield three with Allen and Lucas. All three are midfielders with unique qualities! Gerrard can move on to the attacking right!

Loan or not, if we somehow get into the Champions League next season I think we'll either make this move permanent or get Xabi back.

Hope now we have Nuri (confirmed soon I guess) that we'll be less frightened to play more in the midfield, too often do we get scared and pass back.

Also a dream for the attacking three that want to make runs, you know this guy will pick them out in space.

Without an option to buy guarenteed in the loan agreement id take the nothing option, but as i said above i know im in the minority, its just how i feel about the loan system..

Im not at all slagging the deal please i dont want people to think i am, i just dont like the loan system and dont like us having a short term view on things..

The problem with not sorting a price out now though with view to a permanent deal is that if he is great then the prospective price doubles? Triples? ... We need to be smarter in the market and even if this looks as though we are on the surface i dont think its the case.

Fair play that. I'm also not head over heels that there's no option to buy.

If he shines and we get into top 4 I hope we can swing a permanent move without getting buggered on the price, if he doesn't shine then I guess a loan actually worked in our favor.

Can't agree.... we shouldn't state opinion as fact.

Fact is Madrid are the ones who only wanted a loan and nothing else...

opinion is that he probably prefered Arsenal due to their involvement in CL... We all know that conpetition to be important but should we finish 4th and Madrid agree to sell you really belive Arsenal would be his prefered destination?

Do you know it was his issue in deciding between Arsenal or LFC?

Was it his agent trying to make something "happen" again next season to generate another commission?

Was it RM trying to get the best deal possible for their club?

Was it the jorno's making half of it up to turn it into a controversy?

Give you head a rest and try not to over analyse when you have exactly zero facts on what really happened other than what you read online just like us.
