Europa League play-off round draw

Liverpool will discover their opponents for the Europa League play-off round when the draw takes place on Friday.
 
The draw takes place in Nyon at 12.30pm BST so stay logged on to Liverpoolfc.com to see who Brendan Rodgers and his squad will face.
 
The Reds are seeded in pot two and could face the following teams:
 
Debreceni VSC (HUN), CS Maratimo (POR), Hearts (SCO), Molde FK (NOR), HJK Helsinki (FIN).
 
The two legged matches are scheduled to take place on August 23 and 30.

Playing against Hearts would be good. Don't have to make a long trip

Good draw , they've lost a few players and will have to punch well above their weight to get anything from the match .

Good draw and always adds a bit of spice when you fraw the jocks.

I expect our regular (once we get the group stages) line-up will be a mixture of first-teamers, fringe players and a few of the kids. It could be a great proving ground for the likes of Robinson, Sterling, Suso and Morgan.

Interesting draw and on paper certainly a good one for us.  As happens in Australia I work with a Scotsman, whose brother plays in goal for Kilmarnock.  He obviously follows the SPL quite closely, so I will get his opinion when we go back to work next week.  It appears that no team has really made the push (financially) to fit into the gap left by Rangers and cement themselves into the top 2.

great draw! obviously a little early to talk about the starting XI in the away leg but having said that you would hope it would give Kelly, Flano, Coates, Robinson, Spearing, Henderson, Pacheco? good valuable game time against opposition I believe they can knock over.

Great draw for us Hearts are a decent little team with a nutter of an owner who
picks the team most weeks.
Tynecasle aka swinecastle to all hibs fans is a proper old scottish stadium down Gorgie road.
We should beat them no problem Spurs destroyed them 5:0 last season

Me and a few mates are going to try and get tickets for this game, seeing as it's only 45 minutes away from us. However I was speaking to the guy across the road from me, a massive Hearts fan, and he said that we'll seriously struggle to get tickets because they'll probably only give half the away end to Liverpool and not the full away section, they did this with Spurs last season you see.

Hopefully they do give the full away section to us, the way I see it Liverpool have a big fan base up here over the border and last season with Spurs, well they were coming all the way from London whereas alot of folk will be coming from Liverpool which is much closer to Edinburgh than London, therefore we'll fill it no bother!
