Allen and Oussama can play this game ?

If a player is signed before 12 o clock today, then yes.

So Allen can, I'm unsure about Assaidi, but I'm guessing that the signing was completed before 12 today to ensure that he is available for selection.

                                             Reina

             Kelly            Skertl            Coates             Johnson
                                            Lucas

                               Gerrard           Henderson

            Suarez                                                 Sterling

                                          Borini

      8 - 0
Save Agger for the skilled matches and let Coates play and deal with the long balls

Not sure if you're joking or being serious with that. No Enrique, no Agger to 'save him for the skilled games', and a start for a 17 year old on the opening day of a Premier League season. You're off your trolley if you're serious with that selection.

      Pre-Match-Tension? Better than Post-Match-Twatness!

Bet we see some of that.

I'd like to see Allen start. He'll give a new impetus to the midfield and I think Lucas will play better alongside him than alongside Shelvey.

According to the 'bib theory', LFC team for tomorrow is Reina, Kelly, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Lucas, Allen, Gerrard, Downing, Borini, Suarez

I'd be more than happy with that team, too much for the Baggies that would be.

^^^ I wish people wouldn't put all this pressure on Rodgers, before a ball has even been kicked in the Premiership.
      Agreed.

      Well said, Cas.

The owners have said that fourth place is not a necessity this season
, so I'm not sure where Steve Clarke is coming from.

"Not a necessity" maybe but "critical" definitely... according to Werner last night. You say tomato and I say...  :-\

Liverpool: Champions League football 'critical', warns Werner

Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has warned it is "critical" the Anfield club secures a return to Champions League football.

Werner told 5 live Sport Liverpool were missing out on vital revenue from the competition.

"It is critical we make the Champions League because there is so much revenue associated with that," Werner said.

Football is coming and, excuse my language, I am so F***ing excited. Haven't been this excited in a long time. Even it we don't do well tomorrow, we can still talk about football as opposed to stupid bloody non-transfers.

Come on lads, let's get a win!!!

Well I am back for the new season with special dedication to posting on here at least once a day and watching every single LFC match this season. I will probably fail for various reasons mainly hangovers and sleeping to much.

Anyway back to this. I think we will win but I am not completely assured it is going to be comfortable. We have got more new players who are going to take time to gel and find out each others games. I expect we will win though probably a very close 2:1.

And there you have it my first post of the 2012/13 season lets see if I can keep it up :)
