Sell Suarez and get a proven goal scorer.

      And I'm only half joking

1 point out of 9 is a terrible run by any standard.

Next 2 games are Sunderland (away) and Man Utd (home). And I don't see this team based on the performance tonight getting more than a point out of those 2 games.

That's 2 points out of 15 after 5 games into season. That would be abysmal and BR has better pull his socks up and find a solution. Loaning Carroll to the Hammers without bringing in another striker was criminal. If BR made that call, I think he's going to regret it, because I believe that is going to be the decision that will make or break his stint here. :-\

We're also odds on favourites to win the 'Shot themselves in the foot' title.

And the Goalkeeper howler tile title 12/13

we get beat so many times that it numbs you, I don't feel surprised anymore, a defeat at Anfield used to be so rare that it hurt you for weeks, months and was so painful for the players that they hardly ever lost at home.
      Now?
Our last 10 league games at home
won 2 drew 3 lost 5 - this is a team\club that is not going to finish in the top 10 let alone 4....

Think we will win the Wages Reduction Title 2012/13 though, well done FSG

      :lmao:

It's actually embarrassing seeing how weak our attacking options are, no cutting edge at all today despite some good possession.

I am just speechless! I genuinely can't except the fact that the level of effort from the team was that low! Only Raheem, Joe and Jonjo are the exceptions. Thought Howard Webb had a good start to the game, but then turned out to be his usual c**tish self. However, not using him as an excuse because the performance was pathetic. BUT! We move on! Hoping we can regroup after the internationals and provide a better performance at Sunderland in 2 weeks! YNWA!

Gerrard must of being burying the kebabs and beers out of it on his holidays cause he looks out of shape to me. Hopefully FSG are sitting at home now realized they are cu*ts after not giving the manager money to spend on a new striker.

Come to expect of it, 1-month after the Euro, he's still on an extended leave, hey, 1 week is more than enough to recover physically and mentally and to get back to the club for an early training.

Stevie hates playing anywhere but CM. Which ironically has been his worst position in the last 4-5 yrs

Well the the boss needs to have the balls to tell him that and if he doesn't want to then drop him.

What is going on at Liverpool? How can there be no recognised striker on the bench?

Rodgers has been left with his arsehole exposed by FSG. Sunderland away next and then Utd at home - not nice games.

FSG are going to see the Kop bear its teeth very soon I fear.

We can criticise the players all day long, and half the time we'd be right. But when you think about it, the 'buck' literally stops with FSG.

They've had 2 months to sort things out transfer wise, but they chose to stay away. Come on, do you think the Gaffer knew they were not going to shell out for more players when he was telling everyone he was looking to bring in another 2 to 3 players?

If FSG are not prepared to support the manager, and worse, make him look to be a right idiot, then they need to sell and sod off.

Make no mistake, the nonsense and resultant disappointment felt by everyone associated with LFC on Friday, played its part duringntoday's defeat.

FSG, support is or get out.

Suarez and Borini simply have to switch positions too.

Suarez needs that bit of space to work in and he'll find it from the right. Plus he can roam more from there and we'll still have a focal point in our attack. Borini looks like he can't beat a man to save his life so he's got to be moved into a central position.

That or find a F***ing striker who's a free agent.

Jesus holy Christ today was bad. There was only 3 positives today but there are so many negatives its unbelievable.

Steven Gerrard was absolutely terrible. How many times lately have we said that. We said after the West Brom game that it was his worst game in a long time, and he was worse today. He seemed to never be able to find a red shirt. The first goal came as a result of his bad pass. Does anyone remember the time where Sterling chested the ball down to him and Gerrard almost seemed embarrassed to take  the ball off of him and took him a second or two to realise that the pass was to him. He seriously needs a big wake up call. Needs dropping for Shelvey even as Shelvey suits the system much better.

Suarez needs to find his first touch anyways, and quick as he is our only striker by the looks of things as Borini is not playing up front.

sh*t performance?  No, not good enough on many levels, but some things were done well.

We pressed Arsenal well and for the first 20 minutes we forced them into playing long ball football, which we dealt with well.  Reina was looking uncomfortable all game.  Actually think this is the best I've seen from Enrique in a while, not great but better than Johnson.  Agger was OK, Sktrel too, but no more.  Allen & Sahin looked like they they'd been born passing the ball, Gerrard was poor, worse in the first half than the second. Borini, give him credit where it's due, he tracked back well, but that was all, Sterling had a good game, still learning though.  Suarez was off the pace & one dimensional, was denied a penalty,  maybe two but giving the push by Mannone would have been harsh.

For me the only real differences were Diaby, who was my overall MOTM, and the fact they created clear cut chances, something we didn't do until the last 5 minutes.

John Henry knows nohing about football. The person he talks to about it is Billy Beane, a baseball coach who has only recently taken an interest in football. Why can't we have owners who trust the guys who know about football at the club to make the decisions.

FSG have fu**ed up big time because with no other striker on the bench how can we change a game when we go 1-0 down? We can't. The club is on the decline and it has been since we started getting Americans involved in the club.

      My thoughts a 100%.
Trimming the wage bill is one thing but you can't own a club like LFC and not expect  to not put your hand in your pocket when the transfer window opens and buy the players to cover the areas we are lacking in.

Our goal ratio reflects our wage bill.
