Premier League Clubs submit Squad Lists
 For the 2012/13 season each club had a deadline on 4th September to submit a squad containing no
more than 17 players who do not fulfil the Home Grown Player criteria. The remainder of the squad,
up to a total of 25 players, must be Home Grown.
 A Home Grown Player means a player who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been
registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for
a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the
end of the Season during which he turns 21).
 Changes to the squad list of 25 may be made during the period of a Transfer Window.
 U21 players are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players/squad.
 For the 2012/13 campaign Under 21 players will have been born on or after 1st January 1991.
The Premier League Board is currently considering an application from Stoke City to register a
player and, subsequently, their squad list will be confirmed at a later date.
Each Club Squad List is attached below as well as an additional list of each Club’s registered Under 21
players who are eligible over and above the squad limit of 25 players.

It's no wonder the lad goes with Suso.
We have no excuse for not putting Jesus into the team.
Good on crosses I hear.

You'd have to wonder what the story is with Doni.
That could as easily have been 19 for the squad.
16 outfield players over 21.

Borini, Shelvey and Sterling brings us up to 19.
Will be interesting to see how the squad develops
throughout the season and how we evolve around
the lack of forward options.

Not so good though, puts up one good cross, then dies a death, then he goes missing for 3 days.  The only upside is, the day before he returns, a load of chocolate eggs turn up.

Sorry but I'm going to sound daft here racer; who are the other 5 in the "squad of 25"? Is "squad of 25" only a title? 

EDIT: I see now... we've only registered 20 'senior' players and "the squad of 25" is only a 'headline'/'title'.

Squad of 25 being the Premier League Squad limit.
So in a squad of 20 players we have 4 goalkeepers.
16 outfield players, not including the ones allowed U21.
