Dominic Thomas (Bristol Rovers)
Oct 01, 2012 09:47:42 pm
Hey LFC Family, Im not sure how many of you have heard but its all over twitter and reports show that we are ready to buy young bristol rovers 16 year old Dominic Thomas! Apparently our scouts have seen him play well for the youth team and think that he would fit into the Brendan Rodgers way of playing as he has apparently proved to be a good technical player with good passing. If you have heard of it please tell me if you want to know more ask even though im not sure on too much just have an inside word we are ready to swoop for him

A quick Google of Dominic Thomas + Liverpool showed up absolutely nothing other than this thread

Sure do and im friends with a rovers fan who goes to watch the u18s matches sometimes and he has said that there is a few scouts who he has spoke to there from liverpool that have been impressed with him and that higher members at lfc had been notified of him and were ready to make a bid. just saying what I have heard!

I dont think scouts would say that.
They might say 'yeah he's played well' but they don't mention whether or not they will get him.
I used to play for Chelsea academy and I didn't know I was going to get picked up by them until I got the phone call.

im just going from what he has told me, and the kid probably hasn't got a clue about this like you said until some sort of phone call. My cousin used to play for everton (I know its everton) but anyway he only found it with a call as well.

Might be a long time before he fits into any team, if there is anything in it, he'll go straight into the academy and it'll be a while before he'll get a chance with the first team, that's providing it's not bullshit of course.
