Help needed, London or Wembley???

I'm in the process of finishing up a design for a tattoo I'm (was) planning to get:

Rome 77, London 78, Paris 81
Rome 84, Istanbul 05
       *****
       YNWA

It should be on the inside of my bi-cep, when I mentioned this to a friend a said that isn't the 78 win known as Wembley?, that got me thinking is it?

Obviously if someone says to you 05 you automatically think/say Istanbul, if someone says 78, would you say London or Wembley?

Yeah I thought that might be the case (thanks tho), when he said it I did then it was going to be known as Wembley as its what sprung to my mind.

All the others are the cities tho so its strange why 78 is known as the ground.

Got to be Wembley priesty, too many generic sh*te clubs and grounds in London for it ever to be called London '78.  Any other sport maybe, but not football.
