Want to see a strong team named tonight. Basically not far off a first 11.

Get the game won and rest players then. Then we can relax going into the last game against Udinese. Its important we try and win the group and get a home 2nd leg in the next round. Its also important to carry on winning and scoring goals at home and keep the momentum going for sunday.

Playing a severely weakened team like against anzhi and swansea in the league cup only interrupts our momentum and we need as much of that as we can get at the moment coming into a run of fixtures in december that look good for a decent return of points.

Especially as Udinese are losing and a win for us takes us through tonight .

You can see what is going to happen here. Throw the big guns on to try and salvage it...and then be forced to play them against udinese next week when they should have their feet up as we have to go there and get something because we messed it up tonight.

Downing and Cole in the same line up may as well have 9 fcking men on the field ,think Rodgers has missed a trick here ,this is europe man and we expect certain things ,and one of them is to put out your best and get the job done first, i hope we go on and win and this team excels but it dont give me much confidence.
