I am ok with this, we are playing away from home and Spurs can be deadly on the counter so a more defensive midfield pairing of Hendo/Allen seems appropriate. This is a mid-week clash against a decent side so I suspect Stevie will be up for this one as well as the other 3 upfront. Shelvey/Suso as impact mid-field subs if needed, though I think Shelvey has more confidence/goals in him then Hendo, he is more likely to make a rash challenge or get burned on a counter, Hendo for all of his faults tracks back well which is going to be needed seeing Andre will match up against "Donkey Kong" Bale.
I'd rather see Sahin, Shelvey or Suso all in ahead of Henderson. Sahin is a far superior passer to Hendo and both Sehelvey and Suso will make an effort to get forward an support Suarez. A midfield of Gerrard, Allen and Henderson is lacking guile. Stevie is playing much deeper, Allen plays too deep to affect the game going forward and Henderson (for all his bluster and running about) simply doesn't have it in his locker. also, if we play with a leftie (Enrique) on the left and a rightie (Sterling) on the right then the need for midfield runners is even more important. I prefer to see our wide men reversed and looking to play inside on their stronger foot, it means the full-backs can get forward naturally and puts less requirement on the centre-middies to get in touch with Suarez (because they don't do it often enough at the moment).
