I expect Reina, Agger, Allen and Sterling to be rested for this one. I'd like to see Lucas start the game after this brilliant performance on Saturday, he could be the difference between us finishing 10th and 6th. Saying that, I'd like to see him taken off after the 60 minute mark with Allen replacing him.

I'd also like to see Cole and Shelvey come on at some point. Most probably on for Suso and Wisdom (Then switch Johnson to RB, Enrique to LB and put Cole in the front three).

I'm a bit optimistic about this one, we need a win to go through confidently, although I'm sure all of us would accept a scrappy 0-0 if it means we progress.

I'm going for a 2-1 win for LFC with Suarez and Johnson scoring the goals!

Hopefully we see Coates in this game. It's been a bit baffling that he hasn't played more this season in all honesty.

True but how do you drop Agger or Skrtel to let him play.  Yes we've had cup games but it's not enough, he needs to be playing regularly.

He hasn't featured in cup matches nearly enough though. Only 3 appearances in Europe if I'm not mistaken. He should have had all 5 appearances in group play, and hopefully another Thursday.

Carra did mate.  It does seem weird that he's not featured much recently, just as weird as why we're seeing more of Hendo and Downing.  Maybe it's just down to Brendan wanting to make us more secure at the back.  Maybe if we're 3 or 4 up early on he might come on.

Maybe a loan to another Premier League club would do Coates good?

As someone said, it will be hard for him to get in the team at the moment over Skrtel and Agger; My only concern would be if one of them got injured leaving us short at centre back.

Luis Suarez has been named in Liverpool's 19-man squad for the crucial Europa League clash with Udinese in Italy.

The Uruguay striker, who is suspended for Sunday's Barclays Premier League trip to West Ham, is set to make his first away appearance in Europe this season.

The Reds departed John Lennon airport on Wednesday afternoon with a travelling party that includes Suarez, as well as Pepe Reina, Glen Johnson and Martin Skrtel.
