Decent enough lineup, though I'd have had Assaidi in the side ahead of Downing. His quickness to get around the edge could set up Luis better IMO.

Sahin and Suarez to score!

Strong line-up, with them nothing to play for I expect our greater desire should be enough to see us win this game.

That's a team capable of getting the job done. Udinese are out and will be playing just for pride.

I hope Suso's role tonight is more along the lines of Jonjo's on Saturday v Southampton. I hope he's not made to stick out wide as it doesn't suit his natural game.

Would like to see Sahin pull the stings in midfield tonight could be a big game for him, 0-2 for me Suarez (2).

Worried about that midfield again, not sure there's enough drive in there. Hope Henderson and Sahin aren't as passive as they've been the last few games they've played in.

Happy with that lineup although Assaidi would have been a better option than Downing.

I worry the same.

Between Downing, Sahin, and Henderson there's a great potential for passive play.

I'd rather Henderson play back in the Lucas role than Allen. If Allen is given free reign to attack I think the link between the midfield and the forwards would be much stronger. Doubt we'll see that, but still think that's a better option.

Really want to see more from Sahin. He's been disappointing and this is a good chance for him to prove himself.

I don't know, thought Sahin put himself about very well against Young Boys. Made a ton of tackles.

Assaidi and Coates please!!!

Assaidi has shown nothing but promise on his rare games for us but doesnt even get starts in Europa? I think he could work really well along side Suarez... he must be terrible in training if Downing is ahead of him.

At some point we will have Suso, Assaidi, Sahin and Suarez all playing together, and when we do, it will be frighteningly good!

SHould have been Assaidi or Sterling instead of Dowing! Would have liked to see Coates play too!

Come on lads see it through and lets be having going through to the next stage.

Not sure how the F**k Downing and Henderson are still getting games and stifling some of the far more talented youngsters we have.

But anyway, come on the pair of you and get a hat-trick.

Either we are trying to give Downing time so possible buyers can see him or he is basically getting in the line up because of his price. Showing him off to possible buyers is a bad idea... we are most likely putting them off the way he plays.
