Needs to stop plodding about looking like a sandwich short of a picnic which he did when he came on today.

No but I at this stage of there development I don't think there is a huge gulf in ability between the two as you are implying.

I disagree. There is a huge gulf.

Ibe is going to be a very good player but Raheem potentially could be a great player.

I dont understand how people can dear to try and compare him with Raheem.

Raheem is light years better and developed season after season with us

Ibe has been standing still for ages. His decision making is poor, crosses are poor and its like he is desperate to run into whatever full back he is up against.

The sad thing is that he does inject some much needed pace into our team

He came on again and looked a threat and wanted to run at their defenders but there was one time he had it kept his head down, and there were 2 F***ing players on the edge of the box he could have played a simple pass into for a shot on goal but once again he decided to do it all himself and ran into a F***ing brick shithouse wall.

Was a menace today throughout, thought his striking of the ball was terrific so unlucky not to get his first Anfield goal.

Doing a good job of proving that Derby was his level.

Skipping around tackles and challenges is shitting me does it all the time this lad.

Disappointed thought he had a bright future.

He's F***ing 20. 20 years old. He's younger than the likes of Teixeira and Stewart. 20 years old. He's still a kid.

Ahh well. He was sh*te tonight. Time to write him off and send him back to Derby as that is clearly his level.

He just needs to learn to have better game awareness and intelligence....if that is even teachable.
Also for a player who has great pace, when was the last time you saw him knock a ball past a full back and actually deliver a somewhat dangerous cross or pass?
Frustrating as heck but as some one stated, he is young and has plenty of time on his side.

He's been sh*t the last ten games and he has featured a lot more then Tex so it's an unfair comparison.

Lots of talent, and a good shot on him, but I think he's trying too hard to impress and make a name for himself.  Youthful enthusiasm is great, but you can't come in and expect to play as if you're the top lad in the playground every week.  Hope he learns that quickly, because I think he could be some player.  JK is in a tricky position with him because he offers the rare commodity of attacking pace, but recent performances have been disappointing; however, dropping him back to the reserves now could hit his confidence hard.

Ibe has got to start doing the simple things well before he loses his game completely. He needs to take the ball down the line more and stop cutting inside every time.

He also needs to learn that he has 10 team mates to pass to and doesn't need to do everything himself.

Could be an excellent player in time, but a the moment he is more a liability than a match winner.

I agree with most of you, there is one hell of a player in there but he needs to learn focus and discipline and under Klopp and his team he is in the ideal place to do just that.

I just can't get my head round this " there is a hell of a player in there " sentiment. He is a poor footballer , with many limitations . It just seems another case of everyone hoping something will just click one day. Not gona happen on the evidence of what i've seen.

His final ball is usually just a hit and hope.
      His decision making is awful.
      His awareness is awful .
      His aggression is  awful.
      His passing is awful.
So just what else is there to the lad?
      Infuriating.
I'm all for giving youth a chance , and a bit of patience, but he has to show he has something about him.  I just don't see it.

Apart from all that he's a great shot-stopper.

20 year old kid with massive potential but still lacks football intelligence.

Still too early to be overly critical on the lad for me.

      Frustrating player.
I have to keep reminding myself how young he is but he has also gained a ton of experience due to rodgers and now Klopp.
Weirdly he appears to have gone backwards....so little end product...so obvious in his movements....utterly frustrating.
I think it's going to be 18 months till we fully see what kind of ability he has
