Why do we cross it when a) no one goes in the box b) we don't have a good header of the ball

That is how the English youth are brought up. Cross cross cross. I am sure I will take a beating for that saying they were brought up with Liverpool but the likes of Downing, Johnson, Sterling and Cole are the ones just hammering crosses in.

Because we're built like a house of cards. You cannot build a team with title aspirations on a shoe string budget. As the old adage goes, you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Yea because we haven't spent any money. Take a walk with that tired argument.

      Quote from Ross
Right, I'm not even joking now - I say get Heskey in.

      1) At least we'd have a striker

      2) It'd be F***ing hilarious

Imagine him in this game, hopeless flinging himself about, trying to grab a goal.

As I said in August, it'd be F***ing hilarious.

Very true, it's depressing the number of times we've crossed it this half. They don't even look when they cross either. Just hope for the best.

Because we're built like a house of cards. You cannot build a team with title aspirations on a shoe string budget. As the old adage goes, you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

The problem is we dont pay peanuts do we... We pay well over the odds, and as spending goes we are a big player - always have been. The fact is we have signed some dodgy players, we have sold some great ones and there are a lot of players who are not good enough...

We need a massive clearout - again, for about the 5 time in as many years. We need to buy wisley and we need to invest a ton of money! We also, need to tke our chances. Had we scored in the first 30 mins today this would have been very different. Yet we simply cant finish out chances.

It is very shocking to be honest. Not even crosses behind smashed along the ground. Just floated hopeful balls. I haven't an idea what they're thinking when they do it. Lack of invention to be fair

This season is a building project, we're going to get crazy games like this.

January we'll be closer to where we want to be, but still quite far off ultimately.

Just shrug, call them teething problems, and go again
