      Casey Stoney appointed to PFA Board

      I was just wondering what members thought of this appointment that was announced last week: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24935248

      The Players' Union was established in 1907 and became the PFA in the late 1950s, thus highlighting the first female appointment for over 100 years.

      On face value, it makes sense to have a representative from the women's game on the PFA.
      Taking a more cynical view, it could be seen as a PR move, giving the panel a more 'diverse' lineup, avoiding the criticism received by the new FA committee a few weeks back.

      On a related note, congrats to our Kolo for being included.
