Behave soft lad it's no where near the embarrassment of selling Suarez and replacing him with Lambert & Ballotelli.
Salah and Solanke so far look to be good buy's, plus I still think we'll get VVD done, if we don't get Keita done, then so be it, we've still got a fairly good squad to start the season.
While you're not wrong about the Lambert/Ballotelli signings Huyton, singing this transfer window's praises in comparison to that saga is hardly a ringing endorsement for the way we have gone about our business this summer, thus far.
Different manager too eh.
Klopp's already got these guys on double training sessions - he pushes them hard. Similarly he would have done the same last pre-season. Now, whether it's the gruelling training or lack of squad quality that lead to us dropping off a cliff for 2 months at the beginning of this year, I couldn't say. My guess is, it was a bit of both with the latter being the most dominant factor.
That was a Klopp regime, a Klopp squad in a domestic campaign.
Now you may not worry how a Klopp regime, with a Klopp squad trimmed of a midfielder in Lucas, and an unreliable one in Henderson re. his injuries, are going to cope in a domestic campaign PLUS a European one but I personally do.
This squad couldn't overcome a domestic campaign.
How the f**k is it supposed to fair with Europe on top of that?
Doesn't matter how you dress this Huyton, this window, thus far has been nothing but a sorry affair and the fact it is spoken in the same sentence as the Lambert/Balotelli one, means it's right at home as far as shabby windows go.
