The love-in for Can is mind-boggling.  He contributed the sum total of sweet f**k all for the better part of three years, but then he goes and scores the goal of the season and everyone wants to hand him a new contract.

I had high hopes for him when he came in, but made no progress at all since he signed.  His first touch is consistently poor, he makes these amazing powerful runs that.... end up fizzling out into nothing, he doesn't even consistently put in good challenges, the list goes on.  Everyone blames it on his injuries but he was average at best even when he was fit.  To be honest he could probably stand to lose half a stone as well.  If Juve are thick enough to pay us thirty million for him, we should laugh all the way to the bank.

The only worrying part about this is that we needed 2-3 top midfielders BEFORE we got rid of anyone.  Now we're possibly selling yet another one without any impending replacements.
