F**k yeah, he won't be playing every week or every month for that matter but, imagine him as a player GK coach, called upon only when required, his experiences alone would enhance Karius and whoever no end,
It's extremely unlikely to happen but you just can't buy experience like he has.

He is not the keeper of tomorrow...but he could get us a solid year or two...plus help develop the younger lads...

He's probably got the ability to be our back up but honestly, even though it was just one incident, I've gone right off him after that Michael Oliver sh*te in the Champions League.

Seriously? He's 40, no chance.

Karius is young and improving, I feel Ward will be our No. 2 next season.

Back up with coaching was my thinking and I see the benefit of his years of experience at the top level.

I don’t know I don’t follow Italian football too closely. I know there was a big falling out over him signing a new contract last season but I assume that sorted itself out, he’s the club captain.
He’s scored 28 goals in the league this season and has over 100 Serie A goals, only 25. I don’t think we can just assume our current front 3 will hit the numbers next season they have this...

I think he had a lot of hate from other players because he had an affair with Maxi López's wife and ended up marrying her as well as adopting his kids or some sh*t (not 100% sure on the kids).  Other than that, I don't recall any attitude problems in training and matches.
