The thing with the 2 Spanish clubs is they’re not patient.......and he’s not had the start he’d hoped for.

The main hope I think for Dembele at Barca has to be that they move Suarez on.......then with Griezmann in he’s in the same place squadwise.

Otherwise......this is an age where that kid needs to be playing so.......

Roma are set to replace Alisson their goalie and LFC target with Bayer Leverkusen's Germany international Bernd Leno 26.

This according to Italian publication Corrier Delo Sport.

We should be able to get 1 of Becker, Courtois or Oblak this summer if we put our mind to it.

It's pretty clear Roma will sell Becker to somebody. If it's not us it'll probably be Real. That would maybe free up Courtois, who supposedly wants to move to Madrid, where his family still live. Or he might still want to go to Atletico, in which case that would make it easier for us to get Oblak.

The wild card here could be Chelsea, who might try and do swap plus cash deal for Oblak if they are resigned to losing Courtois. However Abramovich seems to be watching the pennies more these days, plus they don't have CL football to offer, so I think we are in the driving seat. I would very happily take any 1 of those 3 GKs.

Doesn’t have what it takes to fight for his place, remember him saying he didn’t want to join us because he didn’t want to be on the bench from time to time. Expects to be an automatic starter. Completely wrong mentality to cut it at the highest level so I hope we don’t go back in for him.

What is your thoughts on the Timo Werner rumours that goes around? Good for us? Bad for us?

The only reason I can see us move for Timo Werner is if we don't get Fekir and plan to use Firmino in a CF/CAM similar role while Timo is the striker.

I do belive we can afford to play with 2 CM's and 1 CAM/CF next season instead of 1 CDM and 2 CM  or 3 CM's due to the increased quality in the middle of the park from Fab and Keita.

So from what I understand, our transfer strategy this summer is the following:
- We are looking for 3 key signings
- Klopp will decide to sign a new GK if he is a huge upgrade on Karius, if not he will sign a GK to challenge Karius. Butland is not highly rated among recruitment staff (THANK GOD!). Alisson is a clear upgrade but asking price too high.
- Pulisic to rotate with our forwards if signed
- nothing on defenders
I think we need to sign a defender with VVD as I see Matip/Lovren as 3rd and 4th choice center backs. We are pretty covered on full back positions. Clyne & Joe Gomez are good enough as squad/rotation players for TAA & Robbocarlos. Midfield looks good.
