Sorry but you think we can get a CB who you think is amongst the best in Europe ( he must be if you think he can Challenge VVD ) and the best English CB in the Prem ( must be if he is better than Gomez ) - for cheap ? Why would Burnley let one of their best players go for cheap ?

You seem to lack any sort of common knowledge about the sport

Klopp is not going to waste vital transfer budge on a position in the squad where we have 4 players already plus one other and two youth players. Like a broken record

Look I like Tarkowski,I believe we could get hit cheap but I let that distract me from the point I was really trying to make, so let me have another go...

At Present we only have two fit first team CB's and one possible (Fab').... Now given the time of years (Cold weather an all) game coming thick and fast, CL last 16, would it not be prudent to bring in a CB is all I am saying rather than trusting in the youth who have...

a) not played in the Prem' and

b) Have not played against some of the best players in the World

I agree with you, IF we could get someone like Tarkowski for a reasonable fee then it would be a very good move. Obviously he's not at the same level as VVD, Gomez, Lovren or Matip, mostly because he's not used to our system or had the benefit of our superior coaching and team but I do think he could become a very good defender and would certainly provide good cover right now, which is what we need.

In general that maybe right mate but for us at current situation I would like to replace the 3rd GK with someone who is quality and versatile to cover our left FB and CB. One versatile like our Gomez, or Chelsea's Azpilicueta for example.

Matip, a decent player but definitely cannot rely upon.

And if it's me I would try at all cost to replace Moreno with such a versatile LB/CB since the summer.                   

I would also add, why do you need 3 GK's in a squad, how often does it happen that you have 2 GK's out injured at the same time? I would rather have 5 CB's than 3 GK's.

No team in their right mind is going to replace the 3rd keeper spot - A left back may arrive but again I don’t think so

The one area the manager isn’t going to look at until the summer is the back line - if he does buy someone then it will be a wide attacker or someone who can play in that 10 role

Not sure I understand correctly but I think we don't need to register young players (in this case a GK) so I said we can have a free spot by register two senior GK in Alisson and Mignolet.

I would also add, why do you need 3 GK's in a squad, how often does it happen that you have 2 GK's out injured at the same time? I would rather have 5 CB's than 3 GK's.

Fact is we only register two senior GK this season mate (Alisson and Mignolet,  Karius also registered but now he is not at our club).
I too would happy if Klopp add one or two more experienced versatile CB/FB.  Main reason is Matip and Lovren history of injuries terrified me.  Thinking if we just slip the major trophy at end of season by inadequate cover there is frightening.

I'm not averse to the idea of signing a CB for emergency cover.

Yep, Karius has gone. And I'd be quite happy for us to sell Moreno and use Milner or Clyne as back up LBs as well. Even without that, though, we have room for another CB.

Boyata at Celtic is running down his contract, would be a decent back up imo.

Pepe is on a free, if we want a stop gap til the end of the season. He's 35 now right enough.

I don't mind us just signing a back up. Gomez looks good enough to be first choice for years, so I don't see the need for a world beater, just a solid CB for insurance against any more injuries.

I mean. It is a bit naughty Rodders......

100% agree with this, given the choice of Migs and Karius as back up keeper I would go with Migs all day every day as he is the more experienced and consistent in a one-off situation, but in the long run we need better options but perhaps our junior keepers are ok.

Tbh, not my cup of tea, but at 22, he has yet to reach his full potential. Would prefer a better or more established striker/wide player tbh.
