General LFC Transfer rumours/gossip thread

Maybe mate but Klopp has been quite diplomatic in his comments on Wilson, talking about doing what is best for the club and the player etc. He hasn’t really taken the opportunity to say he’s our player and we think he has a roll to play at LFC this season. I think he’ll go myself.

I have to agree with this and I think it would be the wrong move

Wilson is certainly better than the guy Utd bought but my mate who supports Derby said whilst he scores fantastic goals it at times masked his overall impact

He should certainly be given a chance but if he goes I expect someone will replace him

Have to trust Jürgen on this but from what I have seen of the lad I'd keep him and Brewster as backups to Sadio and Mo and give them some minutes to grow into those roles. Origi can probably do an ok'ish job filling in for Bobby, or perhaps even play Shaq in that role.

I'd still like one more top forward though, even if its just for this season whilst the youngsters find their feet. Perhaps some forward coming towards the end of their career, someone like Suarez would be perfect, yes yes I know he's a bit of a dick but what a forward he still is.

If we're struggling in January due to injuries we'll make a signing or two. Don't see us doing any business in the next week.

Not necessarily, he scored 9 and 10 goals in the last two Premier League seasons. Mané had 10 and 11 the two seasons at Southampton before joining us, for example. No doubt he'd get a lot more scoring opportunities at LFC than he currently does playing for Roy Hodgson, just like Mané goalscoring potential has been further explored by Klopp.

Spurs now play in a stadium with 62,000 seating capacity....26,000 more than White Hart Lane.

Additional ticket + concessions + marketing revenues = extra 30 mill (my guess) in revenue yearly just for PL games?
Factor in bonus revenues created in their multipurpose stadium as well...concerts, sporting, etc
