I am thinking (hoping) because of how sarcastically funny it was?

I re-read it and see it now...sometimes sarcastic people are the ones that find it hardest to identify.

Totally agree. It's clear at the moment that we are really struggling to score goals,

We've scored over 30 goals in our last 9 games you bad weirdo.

      Go back to sleep.

Totally agree. It's clear at the moment that we are really struggling to score goals, and Studge would be the perfect option to fix that. He's also proven in the past that he can be relied on with an extended number of games. It's criminal this team is not built around Danny Sturridge

Could be that he is struggling beause Klopp Bulked him up to avoid injury  :f_tongueincheek:

Could he improve on his current form....? Not without a long run of games
Will he get them games...? only if three players are injured long term and he himself remains fit

Sturridge was a great player for us (when fit) and he still holds on to the ball very well, but I am afraid times as moved on, a so should both Sturridge and Ings... We owe it to him to send him to a team where he may get regular games and he may rediscover some of the form that made the Premier League sat up and take notice

      You guys have short memories.

It wasn't that long ago that Sturridge had a better goal to game ratio than Firmino. Since then, Sturridge hardly had any game time and Firmino has been played endlessly. The team has been much improved, and naturally Firmino is in that contributing and scoring (majority of his goals were tap ins).

What this last game showed is that he can play in the system. Can contribute. And probably can score goals. He was written off - but his sub appearance put all that to shame.

That aside, Klopp will never give him a proper chance and good luck to Danny - hopefully he should be off in January.

You are a bit of a odd ball, not unique because there is others like you who get obsessed about certain players, be it Victor Moses of Daniel Sturridge and actually forget you are a LFC fan and moan even when we win!

That is an odd comment. It has no relevance with my previous post.

You can't enjoy us winning because it doesn't include Sturridge.

      What's so odd it's obvious.

What nonsense. I enjoy our wins - as evidenced in the match threads. I didn't even mention needing Sturridge there.  :lmao:

We may have short memories as you put it, but you my friend are in denial.

Sturridge is the shadow of the player he once was, give Firmino/Salah heck even Mane a run of 30 games and all three will finish with more goals than the current Sturridge. He has lost his killer trait, his pace. Unfortunately, pace is something you cannot bring back and it is evident when he plays alongside the 'fantastic four' that his pace isn't there.

No one is saying Sturridge isn't a clinical finisher but to think he deserves to be starting in our current eleven is just wrong.

      Bye Bye Time .
As I continue to say , what with his continual injuries and complete loss of form the Bank Of Anfield needs to stop funding his Rollers.

Another club ... another place , thats the next move.

I'd loan him to Burnley for the rest of the season. That way he can take points off our real rivals but can't play against us.

it means lad in Liverpool yes, but it's not generally used as an insult, so I thought it meant something else in Australia.
