      Shirt sales
      Mar 07, 2013 08:47:01 pm
latest news on the top shirt sales.  We have 2 on the top five in the prem league with Gerrard at #2 and Suarez at #5

      http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/gerrard-and-suarez-get-shirty

      Here is the top 10:

      1/ van Persie - 25.4 per cent
      2/ Gerrard - 8.2 per cent
      3/ Rooney - 6 per cent
      4/ Kagawa - 5.8 per cent
      5/ Suarez - 3.6 per cent
      6/ Hazard - 3.1 per cent
      7/ Scholes - 2.7 per cent
      8/ Torres - 2.5 per cent
      9/ Kun Aguero - 2.2 per cent
      10/ Podolski - 2.1 per cent

apparently Gerrard moved up from 3rd

and if you look at just liverpool shirts, the top ten are

      1/ Gerrard
      2/ Suarez
      3/ Agger
      4/ Sterling
      5/ Lucas
      6/ Carragher
      7/ Allen
      8/ Reina
      9/ Sturridge
      10/ Borini

A couple of things that surprised me... the massive gap between RVP and Gerrard.  The fact that Sturridge is only # 9 on the liverpool list.  However, this might be cause he came in only from the Jan transfer.  And that suarez's shirt sales arent a bit higher or that Torres in his current form is still top ten in sales lolz

According to whom? Official stores? Sports Direct? The fella down the market?

I'll take that one with a pinch of salt - slow news day on the offal or maybe they have got some excess shirts to sell before they bring out another three.

Sterling higher than Lucas surprises me.

I'd imagine the Kagawa sales will make for interesting reading for those within the club.

Honda on that free transfer anyone?

I thought this was going to be Warrior admitting sh*t away shirt sales.
They've been literally giving them away.
      Great for charity though.

      Allen, No 7!

Seriously, number seventh best selling shirt.

The only way I can see that happening is that there is an awful lot of kids christened "Alan" and they think it's a personalised shirt.
