                              Reina
      Finnan     Carragher   Hyypia      Arbeloa
      Pennant  Gerrard      Benayoun  Babel
                   Voronin     Torres
That's the team i think that Benitez will play. It is a shame we don't have Agger and Alonso, i think they're unsung heroes. Can someone tell me why Babel hasn't been playing the last few games? The only thing i have wrong with the team i have said is, whether Benayoun plays again

Abit early to say, but i believe if we snatch the 3 points from this game we can go into the international break with some momentum and confidence- this match is almost season defining about where we're going to end up at the end of the season. The mancs beat wigan 4-0 last night....does that say something??

No, It say nothing, they have thier level, thiers stars, but they was hold until the 53th minutes, after that, It's 4 goals, LiverpoolFC get the goal too late in the match with Wigan, the 75th minutes, they're deadly tired that time, Wigan want to attact, and all that they could do is defend to keep the score.

If this one say something, the when Manchester United win hardly against Sunderland 1-0, a teacher/student fight, LiverpoolFC won Sunderland 2-0. When Manchester United was hold 0-0 by Reading, LiverpoolFC beat Reading 4-2 (that's kinda unprecise, Carling Cup is different thought!)

And sorry if I mistake what You mean here! scouser_10!

I really, really can't call this today, if spurs come and attack which i'm sure they will, then it could be a goal fest, liverpool haven't scored alot in the league apart from against derby and spurs scored 5 past them, i hope and prey for a liverpool win 4-2.

Yes we need to have a very good performance but a win is what matter the most. I'm confident that we will see some kind of reaction from the players but as long as we win I'll be happy, we cannot afford to loose more points at home especially with the like of united finding their form.

      Torres and Kuyt in front.

I agree with chris on the team. exactly what I thought.
The only problem with playing a 4-3-3 that someone noted is that although its more attacking I personally would want us to break down their midfield by winning the ball most of the time.
With Masch and Stevie to win the ball in the middle breaking their spirits. Lord knows that if they lose the midfield battle they wont score.
All we need is to find some passes and crosses to meet Dirk and Nando and we should be sweet. Hopefully Rafa doesnt concentrate on holding the Spurs
rather than concentrating on us scoring.

If things go to plan, 3-0.

Can you actually tell us why you hate Rafa so much?  If you enjoy seeing Managers get the axe after a 2 - 3 match  run, the English Premier League is definitely not for you.

I think you should be a Real Madrid fan, they have their Managers sacked for any occasion.

Team for today is as follows

Jermaine Pennant will return to the Liverpool side for today's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield after missing Wednesday's Champions League defeat to Marseille through suspension.
Rafa Benitez has also recalled John Arne Riise, Alvaro Arbeloa, Javier Mascherano and Andriy Voronin as the Reds look to keep up the pressure on Arsenal at the top of the table.

      Reina

      Finnan Hyypia Carra Arbeloa

      Pennant Macherano Gerrard Riise

      Voronin Torres

Liverpool - Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Arbeloa, Pennant, Riise, Gerrard, Mascherano, Torres, Voronin.

Subs - Itandje, Benayoun, Kuyt, Babel, Lucas.

FROM OFFICIAL SITE, i think this is the best team for todays game, originally thought maybe Kuyt but selection seems sensible

Riise has been playing poorly of late. I think his selection - on the left of midfield it appears - is more a reflection of the choices the manager has available in that position, otherwise I think it more likely that he'd be on the bench for this game.
