On Citytalk this morning, one of the lads from the Anfield Wrap said that a journalist wrote (about when Luis came on) "Suarez entered the pitch with duplicitous intent" (words to that effect).

I mean seriously? They (he) is suggesting that Suarez was standing on the line waiting to get on thinking about doing something underhand and he gets paid for writing that?

The lad attracts bias like iron filings to a magnet. On a scale of 1 to 10, if Luis does something like dives he measures a 9 or 10 from sports journalism, Gareth Bale will be about a 5-6 and ashley young will be the magnetic equivalent of plastic. It's a good job Luis has got skin like a bloody rhino or we'd be losing him.

Get a grip journalists and learn to write useful, incisive and individual prose instead of sheep brained bile, cu*ts.

Has the Club shown its hand by releasing a statement of support in favour of Suarez?.

True, you would think they would have learned by now especially after the last incident Suarez was involved in.

Maybe time to re visit those white tee shirts ;)

thing is they still say it was deliberate hand ball, ffs. they should try running through on goal at the pace and move hands out of way of a bouncing ball.

Couldnt agree more, shame the people who write the sh*t rags dont have this much sence.

better they dont say anything then claiming they will back suarez 100% then bail off when the verdict comes out. If i was suarez then i would have felt like that the board back stabbed him. just imo

I said so much at the time to a mate, he should have been straight on the phone to a barrister ,if not him then the club should have done it ,the only reason it winds me up is the fact he could walk away and say enough is enough ,he is a tough little c**t with the hide of a rhino it seems, so hopefully that wont be the case.

What would really shut the fckers up is Luis suing them and then handing the money over to a charity ,and telling them the next time he will do exactly the same.

Thing is, Liverpool FC are as much to blame for this as the media. Does anyone seriously think Fergie would be still speaking to the Media if they printed this sh*t week in, week out about RVP? The club needs to come out and start banning the journalists responsible from the club. Telling them when they can write fair and balanced articles and treat Luis the same as they treat all the other, especially English, players in the league, they can come back. Instead they shrug their shoulders, send BR out for another "Brendan Rodgers defends Luis Suarez" interview and nothing ever changes. As I said, we could learn a thing or two from Man U on this matter.

Messi of course scoring a rather famous hand of God goal of his own a few seasons back. Try again, James Lawton.

How the hell is that an apology from ESPN? Not good enough.

I want to hear an apology from Champion himself. No chance of that like.

Someone tell me again why we should expect any different or care?

We need to stop playing the victim and just move on. Someone levels abuse at us...just shrug your shoulders and say "eh...whatever you say" and move on. Thought we all learned from an early age that bullying is best taken care of one of two ways, either ignore it not giving the bully the satisfaction of knowing that he's getting to you and he'll stop (usually best course of action) or knock the bully the eff out (usually the more satisfying course of action). Since number two isn't really an option for us, let's just forget about it and focus on the task at hand which is supporting Luis, the team and beating the scum.

Well obviously enough fans wrote in to make ESPN think it was worth while to issue an apology.

Ok, and the apology has been made, so why not move on is my point. Going on and on about it after the fact just makes us as fans look neurotic and petty.

Funny thing is, on Sunday ESPN UK had to apologize for Champion's comments. The next day, ESPN in the US had to apologize for this:

Kirk & Brent Lose It Over Katherine Webb - AJ McCarron's GF

The problem for the media is Suarez won't go down. They keep hitting him but he just stands there, causes more controversy, scores more goals and laughs in every one of their faces. They try and try to get him down but he won't let them because he is a fighter. They want him to break, give in so they can then carry on an even more vociferous onslaught but there is no chance of it happening and they keep punching away. Luis is winning the war. People are starting to see the media as the bullies they really are, the clever ones that is. There will always be the sheep who go against Luis because whatever is said in the papers they immediately believe. We are living in a spoon fed society where a lot of people unfortunately cannot come to their own conclusions and need to be told how to behave and how to think.

Luis is winning the battle. The more they try to hit him and knock him down the more they make themselves look like the fools they really are. I'll never buy a paper again because of these vicious and bullying types who make money off trying to attack someone doing their job and the sooner they all sod off across the pond like that Arsenal loving idiot Piers Morgan the better. God help us if he gets deported.

They hate it when he speaks out in the media and not apologising. Luis is a man of his pride and principles, he is proud of his roots and respects true friends, true people who stand by him, his loyalty is without question. Everything the media despise, they do not know the meaning of loyalty in the slightest.

ESPN subscription was also cancelled and have also emailed the BBC to tell them they can shove future TV license money up their rear ends as well. Sorry for the rant but these constant bullying attempts of a human with faults are really starting to grate me. Its as if other humans are perfect or something when evidently they are not.
