Well win but Norwich will make it difficult. If we let them get crosses in theyll score. And they will get crosses in from there left because Wisdom plays to narrow almost like a centre half when were on the back foot giving the opposition space on the left to fire in crosses.

johnson Skrtel Agger Robinson back 4 might sniff out that problem. If we do that and Lucas keeps tabs on Hoolihan we negate Norwich and should have too much firepower the other end for them.

That map lays out the triangles that (I'm assuming) Brendan wants the players' passing to follow. This means that when we play it out from the back, Agger and Skrtel are "limited" to the fullbacks and Lucas only.

To solve the slow build-up play, they could bypass Lucas and play it straight to Gerrard or Shelvey. This would link up midfield and attack quickly, and enable both quick attacks and counter-attacks.

Triangles aside, this is the team I'd pick. After last week Allen should feel lucky if he ever wears a red shirt again. Shelvey has more bite in midfield and a better eye for goal than Hendo and we need goals if we're to put last week behind us.

There's some doubt as to wether this will go ahead this weekend. They're giving a lot of snow and freezing conditions in Liverpool this weekend. 45,000 people going to Anfield in that could be risky.

Anthony Pilkington has also said that Norwich's travelling arrangements are up in the air with the weather at the moment.

Good shout. Suarez definitely has a lot of influence in the deeper role and no we have someone else to keep up the field to stick it in the net. And having a midfield 3 of Gerrard, Henderson and Suarez has some potential to do a lot of damage. And at the same time it has a lot of energy to close down, hassle and win the ball.
