Perfect number for him in my opinion.

Makes sense if he takes the number 10 as it's only natural he would want this number, it's a big tradition here in Brazil for players of his position

Genuinely excited by Coutinho's signing, I'm not expecting him to uproot tree's immediately, but given time and patience to adapt to the pace of the premier league, I think were going to see a helluva player develop at Anfield.

I'm sure he wont mind being compared to the previous custodian either!

Bit like whenever a geordie gets given number 9 shirt and everyone starts saying 'will pressure of shirt be too much'!!

Who is our best no.10 to date? This obviously only really applies to times of permanent squad numbers. I suppose you need to go some (unfortuneately) to beat Owen so far?

New signing Milan Jovanovic has been handed the famous No.10 shirt after completing his transfer from Standard Liege.

 The number has previously been worn by Anfield legends like John Barnes, Terry McDermott, Jan Molby, Luis Garcia and John Toshack.

They tend to just wear any old kit for their medicals I think, they wouldn't have any kit specially printed for a medical.

This just shows he was having a medical, still no concrete reports regarding his work permit, which I think has been one of the main stumbling blocks in this whole saga...

The location of the image looks like it is in the Brendan's office at Melwood. It does seem a random place for a picture to be taken of a player, not seen that before. I don't see much pressure being connected with the number 10 shirt to be honest.
