I feel some like Stevie will miss Carra's presence all around the club, in the training field, in the dressing room, in games next season. There will be a sense of vacancy with those who look up to Carra as a friend and for Carra's consummate professionalism. Goodbye Jaime Carragher. Legend.

Congratulations to Carra for a fantastic career and all you've one for the Club, you will be missed, massively underrated by the media and England. I think we are losing far more than just a top player, he is one of very few who were still at the Club and understand what it means. Carra gets the Liverpool way and what sets us apart from the rest. My fear for a long time has been that there are not many 'Liverpool' people left anymore.

Although its sad to see him go he left how he would have liked. He was playing for Liverpool regularly.

Take the positives folks, Sky Sports have finally given me something for my money and got a hell of a lot funnier.

Waking up to Jamie Carragher not being a liverpool player is surreal. One of my favorite players ever to wear the red shirt. Wear his heart on his sleeve and give everything to the cause every game. Carra u will be missed. Leader. Loyality. Liverpool Legend. YNWA

 Carra went out at the very top a one club man,Micky Owen must of been green with envy at his own demise.Jamie proved that you can be loyal  and be held in Liverpool History alongside Ian Callaghan and so many other Liverpool greats who have served our club over the years.

A true legend

Anfield on a game day will be even quieter now without Jamie's voice booming out all the time.
