       :D That's very true.

Good on him. We all know he's a decent fella. As JD said though, I think he should keep his heroics until the 23rd May!

Well played Carra - as someone has said up there ^^ - what if he had a blade or something. With Carra's part-time superhero antics I think he must be much more careful next time!!

      But well done Carra lad!!

Im absolutely disgusted with Steve Mclaren, yet again that brainless excuse of a manager has made a mistake. Time and time again he favours John Terry and Rio Ferdinand over Jamie Carragher. Ok the game against Estonia we were expected to win with our eyes closed but why on god's earth when Rio is out didn't Carra get the nod. Im absolutely disgusted now because Jamie Carragher in my eyes and many others is the best defender in the world, that man works unbelievably hard and always gets in fantastic tackles and plays with his head and more importantly his heart, a player England are lacking. Carra in my eyes is better than John Terry and i wouldnt swap Carra for any other defender in this world, he is IMMENSE and i have never seen a better defender. So i am venting my frustrations along with many other LFC fans that i am absoloutely disgusted that Carra has been dropped again.

The only person who should be dropped like a hot potato should be Mclaren and that pathetic excuse of a centre midfielder Frank Lampard!

I personally think we should cause uproar on Carra's behalf!!!!

England coach Fabio Capello is ready to meet with Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher in a bid to tempt them both out of international retirement.

Scholes, 33, quit England after Euro 2004 - whilst Carragher, 30, gave up international duty in 2007.
Both players are continuing to perform at the top of their game for their clubs, Manchester United and Liverpool, and the Italian is keen to have them both available to him.
"There are players that don't want to be part of England like Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher. They are very good players and the door is always open," Capello told The People.
"But you can't force anyone to play for you.
"The most important thing is for the players to love the shirt and want to play for the shirt. It is down to them."

He wont go back. All about pride here. If he says he will go back and gets the palm and sits on the nech the whole time then it wont do him any good at all and hurt him mentally. Plus, if he wants to extend his career then he wont even consider it.

Jamie gave too much to his country and was heart broken, I feel.  He played so many under 21 games, he was the most capped player and didn't get his rewards in the senior squad.  It doesn't he will ever go back without any assurances, and assurances are very hard to give at the very highest level.  He has just simply lost his passion for the national side, which is understandable.

He tried to get him out of retirement when he took over and he said no so what makes him think he will say yes now when they are not even going to euro 2008.
