It must have come down dramatically.

      To quote another users post

      Gulacsi (22), Jones (30), Reina (30)

      Agger (28), Carragher (34), Coates (22), Johnson (28), Enrique (26), Kelly (22), Skrtel (28)

      Allen (22), Assaidi (24), Downing (28), Gerrard (32),  Henderson (22), Lucas (26)

      Sturridge (23), Suarez (25)

      U21 Players:
      Borini (21), Coutinho (20), Shelvey (20), Robinson (19), Suso (19), Wisdom (19), Sterling (18)

      18 Over 21 players now.
      15 Over 21 outfield players.

So as far as the registered 25 man squad is concerned we have the smallest squad in the league.

I'd be amazed if that squad cost much more than £1.5M a week? (about £75M a year).

Anybody like to hazard a guess how much smaller our wage bill is than when Fenway took over (I remember reading it was about £120M then).

Would say we're probably under 100M anyway.
Think of how much more we can save in the summer when Carroll and Downing (&Skrtel) are taken off the books.

Seriously we must be bottoming out now. Well we are close to the F***ing bone anyway.

It's definitely come down from what it was, but you could probably also say it's a bit more balanced now.

If we were to rank them, I think it'd be:

Top Earners (75/80k-100k+): Gerrard, Suarez, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Reina

Second (55k-75k): Carragher (thought he took a pay cut last time?), Downing, Sturridge, Henderson, Lucas, Enrique, Coutinho

Third (25k-55k): Allen, Borini, Coates, Kelly, Jones, Assaidi,

Youngins (25K and less): Suso, Sterling, Robinson, Widsom, Shelvey

^Obviously just speculating on the figures, but I think it's somewhere about that?

Squad value according to Transfermarkt.    With Doni still included. Take Doni out and our average age drops further.
      Youngest squad in the league.

I think Carra is probably towards the upper end of that third category now.

And it wouldn't surprise me if that third category, most of the players were much nearer to the bottom of it.

Jones, Coates and Assaidi yes, but I think Borini is about 45-50k and Allen about 40-45k?

I'd say between £80-90m per year.

Carra is 100k plus after his last deal ... However I'd never begrudge him it

I thought Coutinho had signed at around 40-50 from what I'd heard but maybe wrong on that.

I think it would be around 75-95 depending on the bonus structure being met.

But Carra out of contract this summer.. Carroll and Downing likely to move on..

The average premier club spends about 70% of there income on wages.

If we are spending £80 million, we will have the lowest income to wages percentage in the league 40 %.

Man u spend 45 % of there income on wages
