So just in case anybody is wondering about the way we conduct ourselves in transfer business we, who didn't want to keep an unhappy player remember, asked Barca if they'd loan us him back for the remainder of the season.

They said no and we said okay here he is anyway that will be 105 million quid please.

From the moment he handed in his transfer request that was enough for me so I'm glad the whole saga is over with & he's fu**ed off to Barca.
Thought we should have held on to him until the summer but that's just my personal opinion & besides I think the deal was already well  hammered out behind the scenes before this window opened.
A fantastic player he may be but as a human being he has been totally classless in this whole affair & the sad thing about that, is that will be my abiding memory of the lad.

What is it with the fairy tale drama bullshit people talks of now. Heroes and villains etc it's patronising sh*t. If we want a binary view then a more accurate one is we have the very rich and the very poor and a small bridge in between where the rest of us are being told to imagine how good it will be to get to the other side and to live vicariously while we wait. In reality the rich are placing explosives on the bridge and soon as the robots come online we will be cast into the void.  Coutinho is a good footballer end of story. He has the sickness of wealth and fame now is lost. There are plenty of good footballers out there though.

I dreamt of Liverpool FC winning the league this season. He didn't give a sh*t and submitted a transfer request 3 days before the opening game. I dream of Liverpool winning the CL and the FA Cup. He doesn't give a sh*t and fu**ed off To Barcelona.
