It is worse than that for him. Seen him v Valencia on Thursday and thinking glad to get rid if he is going to play like that. Back passes, long balls and losing the ball.. he had a tame shot on target from range but looking nothing like how he was here. In premier league he had space to move and play football. When he has no space he had no confidence or knowledge on how to make any impact. Barcelona must be regretting forking out 148m and if he continues to be like this he will get 5 goals a season and maybe 10 assists, he looked bang average.

Doubt he gives a sh*t whether he is the main man or not. He gets paid 200k+ p/w, living the life in Barca and will most likely win more major trophies than if he stayed with us. . Just look at Masch, worlds best DM and then got shafted into playing CB when he moved there, but look at what he has achieved...

Not easy to tell if he was aiming towards goal or if he was actually trying to play it across for someone else. But, not that they will care, goals a goal and I doubt it will be his last for them.

He is not going to make it there though, it's nonsense to think he can satisfy the amount of goals Neymar was netting. He isn't a good option to play deeper because of his lack of defensive skills. I just don't see where he fits long term once they get griezmann.
Coutinho is getting slated over at the Nou Camp. Fans are saying despite that goal he keeps giving the ball away.
I am not sure who Barcelona can sell to raise funds for Griezmann since most players are ageing.

Coutinho can't even play against Chelsea in CL, so a it is surprising, he has not performed well so far though.

Wouldn't count on it, I just don't know how he fits. He doesn't score enough going forward to earn a spot in the front 3, he does not have the same defensive attributes as Iniesta. He just has the passing of Iniesta and some goal scoring attributes, personally I think he needs something extra to solidify a place. I actually think he would be behind our front 3 in the pecking order and I never rated Coutinho in a deeper role.

Not really playing with a front 3 under valverde at the moment,  it is more 442
