Exactly my thought's focking cock blatantly look's like he couldn't give a fock to prove a point to Rodgers.  his last game im sure unless carra gets injured.

Today it looked like he relied so much on the offside trap it didn't work couldve been 3-1 down at half time ,but thanks to brad joke Jones aye .. focking gutted i really am.

Just seen the goalscorers. That French fella who scored their 1st goal, I mentioned him this week in the transfers thread. He's a cracking player.

How much do you think Skrtel is worth in the market? We should encash him fast!

Sturridge and Suarez partnership isnt working. looks like they dont want to pass to each other. or is it just me imagining things?
No you're not. As much as I admire Suarez, I've mentioned it many times before, when he's inside the box he plays for himself and he' looks forward to walking the ball into goal everytime, others are simply non-existent. If he had cut the ball back, for Sturridge, we could have got a goal. BR has simply underestimated Southampton, he never does his homework to see how Southampton, being not one of the most skillful team around has mastered the art of pressing.

Simply, 3-lessons learnt by BR today  :-

      1.  He has simply underestimated Southampton by playing Allen. Allen does not have the physical attributes to match Southampton's midfield and our midfield totally collapsed today.
      2. Southampton mastered the art of pressing and they played the same way as they did against Spurs and got 2 late goals in that game. And BR came unprepared for the physical and pressing game by Southampton. It appears that BR came unprepared and  is unaware of what Southampton can do.
      3.  Johnson has been horrible in the last few games and never seems to get dropped. What's wrong giving Wisdom a chance? To start with he's never good enough for us in the first place. And Skrtel with his "backing off" is simply going back to where he came from.

      Simply embarassing.

If we had a Masch or Didi today, we could have prevented one of the goals.

Only saw the last half hour. Were we like that all game - just hitting hopeful long balls straight back to them?

It wasn't til the 89th minute that I saw us put more than 5 passes in a row together.

Jones 4: All at sea, looks lost, nervous, and terrible distribution
Johnson 4: Terrible. Poor passing, caught flat footed too often, just very poor. Nightmare game and not just this one - he has had two or three like this
Agger 5: Quiet. Beaten for pace a few times, looks unsure
Skrtel 4: Looks like a beaten man. Scared of tackling, can't seem to win headers anywhere in the box. Nervous
Enrique 6: Decent. Can do better. Best of the back four but that's not saying much
      --------------------------------------------------------------------
Gerrard 6: Huffed, puffed, pulled everywhere. Sloppy on times with distribution, very quiet second half
      Downing 5: Ineffective. Again.
      Allen 3: Oh dear
Lucas 5: Still unfit, or has lost a pace. Passing was poor today as well.
Henderson 5: Not much to report.
      --------------------------------------------------------------------
Sturride 3: Useless. Unfit, hopefully. Inability to beat a player find a team mate with a pass
Suarez 5: Worked hard, looked leg heavy and I think he hates the rain
Coutinho 6: Not good by any means, but the best of a poor bunch. Off the pace with English football on times, but that will come.
      --------------------------------------------------------------------
Dowd 1: Yellow card for Suarez? w**ker
      --------------------------------------------------------------------
Rodgers 4: Don't play an off form half fit Allen. And if you bring young Ibe, you may as well give him 10 minutes instead of Downing - who didn't do much in the first half and was non existent second half. I know Carra is getting on, but we missed him today - if only to stop Skrtel from playing.

All in all, same old same. Slow slow progress if you look over the season so far. This tendency to shoot ourselves in the foot is worrying. But the gaffer is young and so is the team.

Much worse, if you'd seen the first half you'd have seen the 2nd half was actually a big improvement.

I'd start giving Wisdom a go now - some games alongside Carra and Agger between now and the end of the season would do him the world of good.

I'd try and cash in on Skrtel in the Summer. Don't think he'll ever flourish in a Brendan Rodgers side.

Not good enough today and I feel for all the travelling support that travelled all that way to get served up that sh*te.

Well in the current market that is open I could swap him for 6 rashers of bacon and a fake Gucci handbag. He was abysmal. Player of the season to that in 9 months.

Here's the thing we have to remember: We were on a 4-match winning streak. We're allowed the odd bad performance and loss. The big reason it feels worse than it does or that it should is due to the start we had this season. If we hadn't screwed the pooch early on, this would have just been a really bad game from us.

Allen needs to have his surgery

He needs to speak to Lance Armstrong about getting hold of some PEDs.
