Suarez needs a hand. Coutinho is up there but no-one else. Sturridge needs to come on and we need to change things.

Lucas is having a mare, shame we have no defensive mid cover - something we definitely need to strengthen on in the summer.

Stevie perked up after the goal - get him further forward and move Henderson back to help Lucas cover ground.

I'm not sure why, I have a feeling we will fight back to win this game well...Normally I don't get these optimistic feelings....

Has been entertaining game so far and it could easily be 2 or 3 all. Thought we started well but our lads can't handle benteke and he won them a few free kicks and enabled them to play back into the match. Fancy us to get a goal or two but whether we can keep them out is another question. We've got a decent bench and I fancy Sturridge or sterling to come on and make something happen.

Ps. If only someone had bothered to follow up when Suarez read that back pass. Downing just stood and watched with hands on his hips

You said "Rodgers should do something about it", I only asked what was it that he should do.

Now I ask you how can you affirm that Rodgers has not talked to him that "he need not dribble the ball into goal everytime", without watching the training?

Seems to me you just want to complain about Rodgers for the sake of it It's how Suarez plays, managers can try to change it as much as they want and even succeed a little, but in the end, it's up to the player.

And despite all his flaws, he's still very much our best player. So there's nothing Rodgers should do about him other than orienting, which he's probably doing already. It's the players surrounding him that worry me - the useless Stewart Downing, for instance.

Exactly mate, can't understand how people watch that match and criticise the likes of Coutinho and Suarez, they've been stand out performers by a country mile when we've got a few passengers in the team. Fine if we're doing better pick holes to tweak but the least of our problems are these two lads.

I'd take Lucas off now, move Gerrard back to sit ( he's having to do it anyway) and get Shelvey on.
