Good looking attack that! Love us to sign Erikson but in doing so and then having this line up, could we end up hampering Coutinho's game? He seems to be very effective in that almost free role in behind the strikers.

i dare say the 3 of them (Coutinho, Erikson & Suarez) will be all free and rotating between each others roles

I think Pepe wants out. We have been linked with a few so lets see what happens. And maybe the greek lad can play alongside Dagger.

As we now need another striker I would not be opposed to going after someone who scored over 20 goals last season....someone called Torres.  I say that as I have heard (not sure if true) that the chavs still owe us money for him. If so we could get him for next to nothing and then use the vast amount we are about to inherit to put in the pot to strengthen other areas. If Pepe goes thats 10m to find another gk, so with the carroll money added to the money we get for jaws we will have a handy little pot to invest even after the greek lad and Alonso who I also have in my 11 for next season.

Maybe Villa could be an option but more chance of Torres I think.

I never like to guess who will be are starting 11 as we don't really know what is going to happen but we all have a fair idea what positions need to be filled to strengthen the first team.

That for me is a minimum of where needs strengthening so if we happened to lose Suarez and Reina it's clear how big a job the manager might have in the coming weeks.

This is my perception of what BR currently has in his head (with Toure/Aspas in). I don't agree with the bench, but would expect him to name this team:

Bench: Jones, Kelly, Wisdom, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Borini

That would mean;
 Out: Downing, Shelvey, Coates, Skrtel, Carroll, Spearing ; which all have strong possibilities of leaving this summer.

I think the starting 11 is above average, especially at the front end of the pitch, however the back looks vulnerable. Its clear we have some depth issues, and are running quite a light squad at the moment, so would expect the following signings by the end of the summer;

CB = ~15mill
DM = ~8-10mill
CAM = can see him buying young, but obviously would love a ~20mill player, and competition/rotation with Coutinho.
RWF/LWF = ~10mill

6 in 7 out.
That's quite a large bunch of changes in 1 summer, and not even taking into account if Suarez goes.
