I've to admit, the Beckham of '99 was impressive with his pin-point crosses but overall over-rated and over-hype. Can't take it when he wanted to play at CM and was given the role all too easy. Out of his depth performances in the end.

good player on his day, but will be more remebered for his celebraity status than his football. Although there's no denying his impressive career, his ability will be over exagerated to all belief from now until dooms days.

The epitome of the modern generation, style over substance, football second to the brand, money over ambition.
Gave up on any meaningful career a long time ago.

Most overrated winger ever. No pace, no dribbling ability, no flair. To be fair he did have a good delivery but that's it. I cannot fathom all the adulation and eulogies coming his way.
