Cricket in both cases. Good game to play and great to watch and get pissed in lovely sunny weather. And the Ashes is boss!
Gaelic football to play or watch.Just to watch it has to be ''Hurling''. So fast and skillful. Played it once year's ago as a kid in school. Got taken off at half time(thank god by the way) never tried it again. Mental game if you can handle it. Not a game for mere mortal's.
Hurling - The Fastest Game on Grass Fantastic game Davey , I played at school boy level for the Christian brothers and if you couldn't hit a sliothar they'd beat the sh*t out of you .
My Mum is Irish and I've seen plenty of hurling, one of the most mental games I've ever watched, and the sliothar is like a baseball if you get hit with that even from a distance it can do serious damage. They have my respect, but I also question their sanity.
No sport comes even close to football for me, it's the only thing I'll go massively out of my way to watch. However, if I'm not busy then I also enjoy watching F1 and boxing. In terms of doing, I'd have to say Pocket Billiards, Tonsil Tennis and Pub Golf.
Motorsport and rallying in particular, preparing cars like the one above.
oooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh
With you up until Pub Golf. What the F**k is that?
I'm sure there are variations but the one I know is where you go on a pub crawl, preferably 9 or 18 pubs (holes) and have a drink in each, sometimes keeping track on a score card with the aim being do get a hole-in-one at each, ie necking the drink down in one to achieve par. Naturally most people attempting an 18 hole course would have half a pint in each. Failing to finish the course will often result on a forfeit of some sort.
Sweet.New game for the pub crawl.
...and if you didn't hit a sliothar the aul' C.B's would beat fcuk out of you with hurley more like.
I enjoy most sports. Watching - golf, tennis, cricket, rugby union, darts, snooker, hockey.Playing - golf, tennis, darts, pool.
The downside is that you don't spend a lot of time in each pub / bar. Get served, down it, done.
They would the bas**rds and lift you off the ground by your ears .
Badminton, thrashing a cock is very satisfying

Oh Yes !!!
Being from the States I'm not short on options. Ice hockey and American football for me in terms of watching. The NHL has the best and most entertaining playoffs of any North American sports league, so I've been watching a ton of that. Doesn't hurt when the Blackhawks are one win away from going to the Stanley Cup final! I pretty much enjoy playing all sports here though. Football is obviously my favorite for both, but I like playing basketball, basbeball, American football, roller hockey, and tennis. What I don't like? Any kind of motor racing, horse racing, fighting/boxing/UFC/MMA/etc, and GOLF. Cannot stand any kind of golf unless it's mini-golf
Golf really seems like a sport I would enjoy playing but there aren't many golf courses here, and they're usually expensive and for the rich. Which means I never played. Is it easy to find somewhere to play in England?
As for sports - you who know me know how much of a sports whore I am Football of course top, but then almost everything else I can watch and get invested. Grew up with Aussie football though, so that was my first love (started kicking the egg before I could remember) and will always have a special place in my heart. But then cricket, hockey, basketball, NFL, baseball, rugby, motorsport... it doesn't stop.

motorsport
Municipal golf courses and private clubs. Some just practice their driving on a field!!Can't stand the game personally, apart from the Ryder Cup, actually like watching that.
Very easy. There are a number of top courses that cost a fortune but also others that cost a couple of pounds for a round, there really is a range of courses and prices for any budget.I used to work for Toyota and Japanese engineers would regularly be sent over. The first thing they'd always ask was, "When can we play golf?" There is so little flat land in Japan that golf courses are ridiculously expensive so very few of them get to play so they loved visiting England.
