      Truly great footballer was Zidane.

      Still easily better than Messi for me and only behind Maradona as the best ever.

      I don't think a 3 times world player of the year was underrated at all... but I agree he was fantastic, a true genius of the sport.

      not in my book he was the top man of his generation and his head butt into Materazzi chest his still his finest achievement .No top man for me played the game his own way.
