Nice runs there, just shows what the Aussies are about to bat on. Could be a hard day for our bowlers today.

Need a bit of an Aussie style 10th wicket partnership here.

Just noticed that the back of Swanny's bat is sponsored by The S*n.

      Broad gone

      361 all out

Bit below par but at 30 odd for 3 yesterday you would take it. Good score will only be told after they bat

What do you reckon is a good score on that pitch PD?

England are going to have to bowl well, but there should be some spin there for Swann, and some movement for Anderson with the new ball.

It's a 400+ deck first up.. They would have probably had 450 in mind after winning the toss..

But you can never really tell how good a first score is until both teams have batted.

There will be movement with the new ball.. It will spin more as the match goes on, I'd expect this track to really turn days 4 and 5 which Trent Bridge didn't really

Saw a couple go through the top yesterday, which surprised me on day one (yes, I'm an Irishman who likes cricket. ;)  )
I think a lot depends on how resilient the Aussies are when batting.
They need their top and middle order to put a good innings together, if only to gain some confidence.

We've bowled well with a couple of close calls, just haven't had the breakthrough. It's still a batsmen's paradise.

As I type this Bresnan gets Watson in front. Reviewed...

Worst ball Swann has ever bowled gets us our second wicket.

Full toss, Rogers misses it completely, hits him in the bollocks and the umpire gives it.

      2 down now.

It's another case of the Aussie's F***ing up with the review system but it's also another case of very poor on-field umpiring.
